All iPhone users who have iOS 14 on their devices can now install an iOS 14.5 update, including the ability to unlock the phone using the Apple Watch, the new battery recalibration function, transparency about app tracking and much more. This is all the news:
One of the most important functions is that users who have an updated Apple Watch to WatchOS 7.4 will be able to unlock your iPhone using Face ID without having to remove the mask when they're on the street, and they'll just need to activate the Apple Watch screen to unlock the phone remotely.
To activate this feature, you need to go to Settings> Face and Code ID > Unlock with Apple Watch.
More than 200 new emojis
Apple has made changes to some emojis to be more comprehensive, so many emojis offer more color tones for the skin, while others have completely changed.
One of the completely redesigned emojis is that of the headphone icon, which builds the AirPods Max design.
Xbox Series X console support
Although it was already possible to connect the controls of the next-generation consoles to the Ivesen device or iPad, it could not have been used, however, this problem ends with iOS 14.5 and iPad OS 14.5.
As with mobile devices, Apple TV with TVOS 14.5 will also be compatible with this control limit.
Transparency in user app tracking
The most important novelty in the new version of IOS comes with a transparency function in app tracking, which allows each user to know which apps track their online activity and determine whether they want to allow tracking.
More 5G support and new votes to support Siri and AirTag
It's now possible to get a 5G connection on a SIM and eSIM card, and users will be able to change Siri's voice while setting up their phones. At the moment, new sounds are only available in English.
On April 30, small Abel trackers called AirTag will go on sale, however, these devices will only be compatible with iOS 14.5, so if not updated, they will be impossible to use within Apple's system.
