For the first time, the "Perseverance" probe is extracting oxygen from the Martian atmosphere

The US space agency "NASA" confirmed that the probe "Perseverance" was able for the first time to extract oxygen from the atmosphere of Mars.

The agency noted that the experiment was successfully carried out on April 20 by the Moxie tool, adding that such tools may be able to provide oxygen to the astronauts.

It is noteworthy that the probe "Perseverance" successfully landed on the surface of Mars last February, and it is the fifth device launched by "NASA" to Mars.

The Perseverance mission was launched in July 2020. The probe will take soil samples from Mars and send them to Earth.
